Lunacy - did you swallow?

I'm amazed that your dad allowed you to do this with him being a doctor!

Nothing magical about this in my view - sorry!

To be honest Mini, this is exactly the kind of "Blaine mentality" that will LOSE you respect rather than gain it.

People will see you as a stuntman, and nothing more.
Sorry.

You wont find much better anywhere and it's nothing - a rigmarole with a few bits of paper and lots of spiel. That is Mentalism

I'm sorry, but this was an absolute load of c*** (not the best). I could put it better, but then i'd swear.

If this is all you have to offer to TM then go away. I will not be reading any more of your posts.

Well I for one found that bizarrely quite entertaining, nice patter at the start Mini and your facial expression at the end is priceless. The trick isn't exactly my cup of tea and it went on a bit long, but I'm quite impressed at the reactions you've provoked, unless of course it actually was real glass you were eating...

You see I'd prefer to think it wasn't, I'd prefer to think that a chap of your inventiveness and skill would perform this as an illusion rather than risk doing themself some serious long term damage but if it was real glass then I'd have to agree with Dat, sorry but I'd hate to see a promising young chap like you get injured over this kind of thing.

C'mon man, is it necessary to be that disrespectful??? If you dont like his stuff than dont watch it. Im not saying I like mini or dislike mini or his tricks but I thought that was kind of disrespectful to this kids effort. All you had to say was, simply, you didn't like it.

Ok dude, a few things (just my opinion):

1) I think it ran too long and though I was rather intrigued at the start, by the time you actually get to eating it, so much time and talk has passed that I was bored. You could have paced it better. 8 mins is a looooong time...

2) Holding a couple of wet, saliva-coated fingers close to the camera is kind of disgusting. Maybe it's just me but those two giantic fingers to the camera was the grossest part of the video. :P

3) And I too hope it wasn't real glass. If it wasn't, then you've done a fine job convincing people since that's the topic of discussion right now. If it was real glass... Well don't!

4) Think about misdirection/timing etc. There is a logical gap between why you have to cover the bottle to break it and why the cloth has to obscure your action of picking up a few of the broken pieces. The second part demands explanation and it attracts attention. The audience (or me at least) wants to see the broken glass after you break it and wants to see you picking up the pieces from the mess of glass. That's the convincer (as Darwin Ortiz would say) of the trick and in your video, that part was missing.

Anyway, props for daring and trying.

PS. You look psychotically happy when you took out the hammer. Scary...

I thought that too! I didn't think this trick was that bad tenko, it's obviously not the most AMAZING trick... but doesn't the fact that he really loves magic make you happy when you watch it? You can tell by what MMF has posted that he thoroughly enjoys performing and is having a good time, so why get on his case about it? Just let him be.

MMF...

I've actually just lost respect for you over this!

Not because of the 'trick' (which I hope was done with magic, and not real glass), but because of your comment in the start of the post.

If you'd not have made that comment I thought the effect—although gross—was pretty good. But I don't think you're doing yourself any favours with the plea for respect.

Sorry.
