Ok dude, a few things (just my opinion):
1) I think it ran too long and though I was rather intrigued at the start, by the time you actually get to eating it, so much time and talk has passed that I was bored. You could have paced it better. 8 mins is a looooong time...
2) Holding a couple of wet, saliva-coated fingers close to the camera is kind of disgusting. Maybe it's just me but those two giantic fingers to the camera was the grossest part of the video.
3) And I too hope it wasn't real glass. If it wasn't, then you've done a fine job convincing people since that's the topic of discussion right now. If it was real glass... Well don't!
4) Think about misdirection/timing etc. There is a logical gap between why you have to cover the bottle to break it and why the cloth has to obscure your action of picking up a few of the broken pieces. The second part demands explanation and it attracts attention. The audience (or me at least)
wants to see the broken glass after you break it and
wants to see you picking up the pieces from the mess of glass. That's the convincer (as Darwin Ortiz would say) of the trick and in your video, that part was missing.
Anyway, props for daring and trying.
PS. You look psychotically happy when you took out the hammer. Scary...
