Welcome to the forum, Jetheat!

Firstly, I think the the production you are talking about is called the 'One handed fan production'. Unfortunately, it's not a full deck every time, but the speed gives that illusion.

Thinner cards are available, which give the illusion of more cards being used -but there's always a finite set of logistics involved which make multiple full-deck productions near impossible.

If you're into productions, you can't go far wrong with the Art of Card Manipulation videos from Jeff McBride. He really has mastered the art.

As far as sleights and moves go - the pass is a much feared move my most magicians, although it's a fundamental and very useful utility once mastered.

My personal favourite sleight currently is (which I'm slowly mastering) the lateral palm and gambler's cop - as I'm doing more and more seated table magic (a-la-Lennart Green).

As far as favourite tricks go - always has to be either the lit cigarette vanish inside an item of clothes, or the ID - two timeless classics. The ID, incidentally, would quite easily reproduce a version of the trick you mention at the end of your post.

Thanks for the insight. Do you know where on the web I can research this "One Handed Fan Production" technique? I'd like to get hold of it.

The Pass - I'm pretty glad to say that I have it well under control now. I've been using it for quite some time. It remains my favourite move.

What is the lateral palm and the gamblers cop. Never heard of them.

How does a lateral palm differ from a normal palm?

i would like to say that since you have just appeared on here to promote a selling website that maybe you should practice your video presentations a little first before trying to sell them?

just a note to say i went to the website, and downloaded the demo, what a laugh, highly recommend it, if you want a laugh that is.

ok i am no master magi, but my handlings are better than that, and i am not offering my services to anyone, YET!.

maybe you should go study more, then try again, but with your own material not something copied!

Jetheat

You're a 'teacher of magic's best kept secrets' and yet you've not heard of lateral palming or the gambler's cop???

I admire your courage and front - I really do... Glad to see your gratuitous 'commercial' plug has been removed from the site (Nice one, Moderators)... I've only just recently been privy to the delights of your amazing underground secrets promotional video.

The production quality is excellent, nice cross-fades and graphics. Even the choice of music is not all that bad.

Such a shame that awful voiceover and miserable attempt at amazing sleights ruined all that hard work...

Sorry to be so negative - but has anyone REALLY bought the video???

according to what he states on other forums "i sell maybe 1-3 per day" this i find extremely hard to believe, especially as im guessing you dont have permission to sell copyright material... eg. kings levitation etc.
So I'm also guessing its only a matter of time before you are charged with copyright theft and fined all the £30 you have made from selling these REALLY bad CD's

Something sounds not quite right here - should we be removing these postings to be on the safe side?

jetheats post was removed as it was simply an ad for a VERY bad video that he made. the rest of the posts have been left as they may serve as a warning to anyone even slightly considering buying from jetheat

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY THIS. IT IS SIMPLY THE WORST INSTRUCTIONAL (AND ILLEGAL) VIDEO EVER!
