Has anybody else noticed that the more people become dedicated to magic they start to get a bit "weird" you just have to look at people like blaine or Mr Angel. :) i mean we all start out normal until the magic starts to effect the brain cells im dreading the time when it starts happening to me.

Agree. I also think that the fame and attention people such as Blaine and Angel get also drives their already over active brains. Me personally I enjoy magic more when it is delivered in a less "wierd" way. I am be no means saying what they do is not good magic but I would watch them more if they delivered the trick in a less "wierd" way. I guess it is society we live in today always pushing for something more dramatic!

Magic is real, just look around you, some of the most amazing things have no reason, no explanation but are very real.

I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

Everyone has there own styles, so do not try and copy these 'weird' people. It makes them money, but it wouldn't make me money. Be yourself!

I think they try to be that way because it "mystifies" the general public, obviously some people are susceptible to appearances though... some highly aware people... I tend to be that way, I'm so aware of things, I've figured out so much about magic in just about 2 or 3 days now, tricks like the coin in the bottle trick, I figure them out in a matter of minutes, and it takes all of the fun out of it for me  Like when some tricks use NLP, I NEVER fall for those, because I just don't think like the average person I guess, not that that is a good thing for me, because sometimes it's fun to be tricked

Different people can do the same trick and due to their personality the trick can seem different. The different patters and stories people put to a trick can make a world of difference. I am quite a calm and quiet person so I know if I tried to "be like" Blaine it would just not work. I did try and it was not me and I was not happy doing it and the comments I got were "the trick was good but go back to your own style". Never again I am just going to be me, quiet and boring
