Review
This DVD is ok. Rob Stiff is good on the DVD and puts things across in a simple and understandable way. I thought the levitation was a bit rubbish but I did not buy the DVD for that so I was not bothered. I would say it’s a good starting point and gives you a bit of money and card magic on one DVD

Overall
10 out of 10 for what it is. It was not quite what I was after when I got it but I do not regret getting it.

Magic is real, just look around you, some of the most amazing things have no reason, no explanation but are very real.

Great review - it seems to be a bit of an attempt at MW's Course in DVD format.

Can I just say though that some of those tricks have sleights so surely the minimum difficulty could be 3.

Cheers,

The major downside is that it is produced by Magic Makers, you may want to have a little search into some details of their policies with regard to originality of effects.

I have had this DVD for some time now and regularly use the "mind reading book trick" when performing mentalism. I haven't come accross anyone that can work out how it's done.
In brief, two different books are chosen. The spec freely (uh hmm, sorry just clearing my throat) picks one and you hold the other one. You flick through the book and ask them to say stop at any page, you tell them what page they have again freely chosen and ask them to turn to that page in their book. They then read the first line to themself and you are able to tell them exactly what they are reading.
With a bit of practice you can even ask someone to bring along 2 random books from home and perform it with them. That will really blow them away!
