I'm making a trip to Toronto next month! This would be a good opportunity to stock up on magic goods without the 200% markup we have in Australia.

Can anyone recommend some magic shops?
Also, I want to buy a few bricks of bicycles. Can anyone recommend places to buy them? I've asked my relatives that but they've never noticed seeing any.

exciting :!: :D

NUMS ship worldwide, not sure of the cost though, but the bricks are cheap :) http://www.nothingupmysleeve.co.uk

Send a PM to Siege he will help you out on shipping costs.

of course, but heavy things like bricks should not be shipped. That is why I'm planning to stock up at the source!

Last time I had a brick shipped all the corners were damaged from the rough handling

Yay Option! Welcome to Toronto!

As I've mentioned in another post, Browser's Den is a nice magic shop in Toronto. PM me if you need directions once you get here.

Bikes in Toronto are decently priced from retail shops, but if you have relatives here, find out if they own a membership to Price Club or Sam's Club. These stores are membership based and the bikes are $19.99 CAD per brick. That's a steal compared to the usual ~35 dollars per brick from retail.

Btw, from convenient stores, bikes and bees are $3.50 - 3.99/pack. Tally Ho's are sold at the Browser's Den for $5.50/pack.

Morrissey Magic and Browser's Den of Magic are the two Toronto magic shops. They are both extremely well stocked and I have often thought that Toronto magicians don't know how lucky they are to have two major magic dealers in their city.

I have been to other magic shops all over the world and they don't compare to the two Toronto shops.

Costco is another store that sells bricks of Bikes and they have outlets in the UK too. I bought my bricks at $16.49 USD each there which is really a steal.
