Can I just ask a couple of questions on this?

Do I have to pay on the door or book in advance?
Also, if a parent/guardian was to come with me to the event (to keep me supervised :P), would they need to pay full price also, or would there be a reduced rate for my Dad and I?

Magic is a bore to my folks :?

It would be preferble to pay in advance - because there are only so many tickets we can sell (due to capacity for the evening show) and it would be awful if we had to turn away people at the door.

If you wanted a parent to stay with you all day, then yes, I am afraid they would have to pay admission as well. If you wanted them to drop you off then they could spend the day looking around the town or something whilst you enjoy the activities of the convention.

Then they could then meet you up for the international gala show, as we will be selling the tickets for the evening show on there own if need be. Normally, many people who are attend the day bring their families to the evening show.

Blasping-these are gregory wilson (my all time favourite) and jay sankey
I am looking to get these for lectures nect year...

Something I just read on Penguin:

Jay Noblezada is Penguin Magic's Head Magician. Jay loves magic, especially performing it, so when it comes to our demonstration videos Jay is always nearby! As a creative director and demonstrator, Jay feels that being behind the camera is just as important as performing in front of it.

That probably answers the original posters question.

The "Sankey Issues" was to do with Penguin exploiting him as a magician, Jay didn't like the way that Penguin treated him.

That is why, Jay's stuff is now sold at other magic shops, and none of his new stuff is sold at Penguin.

As far as I am aware Oz Pearlman still does work for Penguin magic from time to time. Recently however Oz has been pursing his own career as a magician a little more actively, with shows, lectures and Watch Magic, an off-broadway show.

Thats Brad Christian.

Sankey still has his new material in magic shops all over the world, including Ellusionist.

Sankey's obviously making enough money... he can afford to hire some pouting beauty just to be an audience for his demo videos
