Ricochet vs. Asher Twist DVD vs. Mercury vs. Well Done DVD

Postby benAbbuyah » Jun 22nd, '06, 17:43

I've been debating whether to buy the Asher Twist DVD, and noticed that Ricochet by Paul Wilson supposedly teaches you how to do the sleight. Also, on this forum it has been suggested that Lee Asher's Well Done DVD is a good way to learn the Asher Twist and get some other material as well. Is the Asher Twist DVD a much better way of learning the Twist than through Ricochet or Well Done?

Alternatively, Mercury has been described as a simpler way to do a 'Ricochet-like' effect...

Does anyone have experience with two or more of these effects/sleights - and an opinion on a good way to go?

Hi.

The Asher Twist DVD is great, and if you watch the preview of Ricochet which is on it, you can pretty much work out how it works with the knowledge that you get from the Asher Twist.

I dont know anything about the Well Done DVD im afraid.

Mercury is a completely different trick entirely! In many ways, i think it is better than the Asher Twist. That said, im still glad i have both because they are both great and i learnt lots from both.
