Herrmann pass - Tips Wanted

Postby Citrus » Jun 18th, '06, 14:40

Hey

I was board and I thought I would do a quick video of a pass, (I can’t remember what the pass is called - got a brain like a sieve when it comes to names lol - so if anyone knows can they please say).

And tips/ criticism welcome :D :D :D - Also do you think this is ready to perform yet, and if not can you say how I could improve it.

Cheers :D

There’s the link for the video (almost forgot  )

It looked OK to me. It needs a bit of work but with some misdirection it should be fine I wouldn't present it as a trick on it's own though.

Cheers

You can rest assured that I wouldn't perform this as a trick on its own    , I'd use in my ACR mostly, and throw it in instead of doin a DL.

Also could you say how i could improve it??

And do you know what it is called??

It's just a Herrmann pass with a simple cover. I'd say just make it a bit smoother - what you're aiming for is it to look like you just square the deck - there's a little bit of "funny business".

That did look pretty smooth to me. I definitely think it's ready for performance. I agree with Pitto - make sure you patter over it for misdirection...I never rely on technique for my pass, I rely on misdirection.

One improvement i'd suggest for the technique is don't make your hands look so busy when squaring up the deck. I suffer from this to and am trying to work past it. But the move is already done and you're creating suspicion around something that you've already done and they didn't see.

Thanks for your replies guys.

I shall take your advise Evmeister- i can see where your coming from, by saying about how it draws suspicion to the deck once the move is done.
