Anyway - back to the video.

AWESOME, MAGNIFICENT, FANTASTIC (help, I've swallowed a dictionary).

A true lesson in card magic and handling and for me it was perfection. A great routine which although I've seen before in different guises, your presentation kept me wondering where it would go to next. I loved it all but in particular the card under the hand was extremely visual. Mrs dat nearly fell off the chair.

Your presentation was flaweless and you made every move look so natural and un-suspicious which is one of the things that I love about your card magic.

A real treat to brighten up a dreary and rainy Sunday morning

I loved it

It was very smooth and basically a treat to watch, which is quite a rare occurrence.

The whole presentation was great.

O but one thing - when showing the selected cards to be all one color be careful because you can sort of notice what’s going on - you should know what I mean.

BUT that is probably because I’m a fellow magician so I knew what to look for, so i think most laymen shouldn't notice. However if you had a real stickler that would be the part of the trick they would catch you on.

But overall a superb effect

About the potential problem you are mentioning citrux, I have never been cought on it. It all depends on the cards you select for the effect.

Sorry to go against the grain but I felt that certainly wasn't us to your usual standards Rune - not saying it was not a good trick, by no means. Perhaps as a magician Im looking to be impressed when I should remember its the specs we are entertaining.

Felt the initial 'pull apart' (i forget what the move is called) was highly obvious, however I do not think this would greatly arouse suspician as your elmsley count was a credit to yourself.

The false shuffling to me seemed very suspect, perhaps a smoother one could be incorporated? Seems to me a lot of distraction and/or patter would have to be utilised to fool the spec.

Also, you flashed black cards when displaying the red deck and visa versa - but whether you do this with more speed in practice would determine if the spec is quick enough to spot whats going on and react.

Things to refine but I did like the trick (honestly!)

Well, I don't like the oil and water effect. I think you have to put a lot of talking (verbal misdirection:) to make it work nice.

Your handling is almost perfect (as always) but I think you didn't really took the time to think this one out. There's too much shuffling, rearranging etc. so it's really hard to notice what's going on. To me, it's more impressive to see your handling and the flourishy things like the 5S jumping from your right to your left hand (don't know how to call it). Let me explain my criticism: first of all some of the moves are very obvious because they should be performed with more hand masking (if you know what I mean), the cards are flashed at one point (we all know where), and you change the way of revealing their faces - and that's always a suspicious thing to do.

So... maybe I should put it this way: You're a great magician but this effect doesn't work properly with your type of performance (smooth, slow, transparent), this is more of a "hey let me show you a trick-in the bar-impromptu" type of effect.

But once again, wow for your performance.
