Saw this on Penguin (not my fav website, obviously) and I am certainly intrigued.

Ok, it's not cheap and only serious magicians will consider buying, but that's a good thing in my book.

Anyone else seen this advertised and pondering over a possible purchase?

I have this on my list but to be honest i was waiting for Tom to review it as i know he has access to this kind of thing. It looks really good but as you say not really for hobbists.

TBH I think this sounds a bit too good to be true. There's no mention of angles or sleeves it may be very impractical think about how good the Raven sounds at first and in theory you can show your hands empty with that.

On the other hand it is Paul Harris.

Cheers,

It is a very interesting piece and is not what you think it is  You need to wear a jacket or long sleeved shirt. Reset in seconds, can be performed in the spectators hand.

As the item is priced at $250 I doubt many will be interested in buying it unless performing professionally - and $250 buys an awful lot of other stuff! Also as it's not due to be available until June 26th, there won't be many Black Widows around to check and comment on yet. How about you buy the item and review it for us  ?

I have a little shop in Waterloo, Ontario and have been fortunate to be using a Black Widow for about the past two months.

It is a great device the video demo's can be found on my website. It is like having a third arm or a trained spider doing the work for you in the spectators or your own hand.

Release is in a week or so.

If you have any questions - I will try to answer them - without exposure.

Yes you can wear it all day, but you have to have sleeves on.

As an aside - Alakazam reckon they'll be having this by the end of the month. Between £150 - £200 (be aware this could change though so dont quote me on the price)
