I Have Looked In The Libraries, Internet And Even Asked Around For Spoon Chafing Tips But It Seems To Me That Illusionists Don’t Do It In England Because There Is As Far As I Can See No Recourses For This Foundation Here. Does Any One Have Any Thoughts On How To Do It or A Place Where I Can Get The Resources To Achieve This Deception. I Will Be Truly Appreciative.

I've never heard of Spoon Chafing - it sounds more like something to do with cookery but I suppose it isn't. Which is a shame as I could have mentioned Nigella Lawson again. But I won't. I'll just sit here and think about her......... (Ah! That's better!)

Ah - that sounds more familiar!

I'm told that the method used by Uri Geller was originally printed on children's cereal packets in the USA in the 1950's but have never seen an example. One method where a Yale key was magically 'bent' was shown on The Secrets of Psychics Revealed a couple of weeks ago and it relied purely on presentation and showmanship.

Most of these routines are available for sale on the various online magic stores so it's a question of being persistent and asking each one what they can offer, possibly via a Google search?

Best of luck!

I think you'll find it's not a trick. Uri Gellar actually does it with his mind

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

oh dear. sorry about that. I just amuse myself too much sometimes.

(and I said amuse mandrake!!!!!!!, thats amuse with an "m" not a "b" - you see I can read your mind  )

(sorry, I do know how the spoon bending is done as it was on Pshychic secrets revealed the other night on channel 5 - but it wouldn't be proper of me to repeat it here.)

No no noooooooo.
Stop messing about, we all know Uri had a magnet the size of a South American country behind him and a strong grip on the spoon, oh and no fillings.

You can buy spoons for bending but the magnet is more portable.

ps-I think I made the magnet bit up, maybe it was just his mind after all.
That guy must have a non-metal house, after all a bit of daydreaming and your stainless steel oven resembles a display in the Tate Modern.
