Are there any other weird tricks like this? i seem to remember my dad saying that ocne there was a guy with a kettle [or something] that would ask people what they wanted to drink, each time pouring out a differnt liquid from the kettle.

Dont know about water to beer, but i can do the oppsite! Just give me a beer and 24 hours, and that beer will have turned into a type of 'flavoured' water that nobody would ever drink!
I was born with Multiple Personality Disorder. Luckily, they are all me, they just dont always get along...

Yes a classic effect performed by many magicians.

On the Barry and Stuart special "the magic of Jesus" they turned water into wine using a vase and then they went around asking everyone what their favourite drink was and they turned water into beer, coffee, vodka and orange and coke
