Uri Gellar's World Cup prediction

Postby B0bbY_CaT » Jun 26th, '06, 02:36

the article below is from Uri's web site. he so correctly selected Brazil from 32 competing teams (amazing). he also nominated Ronaldo as goal scorer... even more remakable! so the relates to the 2002 WC. i wonder has anyone read any similar predictions from Geller for this year's tournement?

[quote www.uri-geller.com ]
On 15th April 2002 Uri managed to sneak into the Yokohama Stadium and buried 3 small crystals which originate from Brazil.

One crystal was actually inserted into the turf half an inch behind the touchline. Uri placed these crystals in order to amplify his accuracy at predicting the outcome of the World Cup. He then walked out of the stadium to the countdown clock which showed 75 days to go until the final match. All this was filmed. He then looked into the camera and said that Brazil will win the World Cup. Please view this astonishing footage by clicking below. The footage was handed over to Reuters who distributed it to 900 TV stations worldwide and CNN televised the prediction to hundreds of millions of people.

On the day of the Final (30th June 2002) Uri's gigantic crystal from Brazil was featured in the News of the World (read by 11 million). The article is self-explanatory and once again his attempts at empowerment succeeded. Please read the story. Indeed, Ronaldo scored the goals, as Uri wished to happen.

I really do have very grave doubts that this happened exactly as stated if at all.

And if it is true, when he starts to break and enter football stadiums with spades, you have to doubt his sanity!

Mind you, it'd just be like him to announce the day after the final that he had made a prediction about the result long ago and it was right.

And if he'd posted the prediction before hand you'd be saying that it was self-fulfilling prophecy... c'mon guys, you'll never give him or any professed psychic room to breath... they're always wrong in your book... always up to some kind of "trick"

As to digging holes in a football stadium... I'd doubt that would be needed in that a decent crystal the size of your thumb can ost over $100.00 and if he was "planting" more than a few... well, it just wouldn't prove too practical on the business end of things, now would it?

Personally, I'll go for the old Shaman's trick of setting up a Spider Web with an Acorn or Hazel nut in the center and use that as a focal point for Remote Viewing.

picking Brazil to win the 2002 WC was not a bbig stretch. they were a serious favouite... no magic necessary. and picking Ronaldo to score the goal was like picking Bonds to hit the Home Run. i posted this because i was interested to hear if he had any predictions about this year's cup???

who will win tonite... Italy or Australia??? a score line? goal scorers?
