Hi there -
Is this trick repeatable? I'm worried about table hopping and people on the previous tables seeing the outcome.
(It reminds me of Banachek's This 'n' That routine and therefore wondered how repeatable it was.)
Thanks,

No, the front of each card shows a number from 1 to 6 and also the face of a die showing the equivalent number of spots; the back of the cards show the words, one of which is revealed at the end and which was chosen by the spec's random roll of the die. The only bit which has 'Diceman' on it is the small metal card case which is used to store and carry the cards. This can easily be removed, covered over, or you could use a normal business card case.Silkenone wrote:Am I right in thinking the cards that come with it have "Diceman" emblazoned on the backs?
the basic working is such that you pass the die and therefore all responsibility over to a volunteer. Then you tell them very scarily (think Kray Twins) that whatever is in the back of the freely chosen card is what you will do to them. I found it more 'emotional' to pick on a guy (Eric) who is there with his lady friend (Mary) and you tell Eric that whatever is on the card is what you will do......to.......Mary. It's amazing how it turns up the pressure - Mary will be giving Eric some serious GBH of the ear and you can almost touch the tension.

If you want to find the specifics of Andy's effect though so that you can duplicate it then please just buy it.
