To clarify my meaning that the crimp cannot be seen. I mean that inspecting the crimped card it cannot be detected. There are no outstanding creases in the card. Also the crimped card is not noticable when it is in the deck mixed with the other cards.

This is a great tool to have in your arsenal. Leave it in the deck and make use of it when you need it. You will always be able to cut directly to the crimp.

Another tip I should mention is if you top crimp(I believe thats what it's called. The work is on the back of the card) you will always cut to the crimp card. If you bottom crimp(Again I believe that's what it's called. The work is on the face of the card) you will always cut to the card above the crimp. Something else is that the crimp will eventually work out. You will have to re-crimp the card every now and then.

When I first began doing card magic I was hesitant to put a crimp on any of my cards. I didn't want to ruin them. Then a magician in my local magic club showed me a trick using a crimp and it changed my way of thinking.
