Hey,
I just came up with what I think is a new method for a card to wallet effect. The effect is totally impromptu and uses absolutely no gimmicks or gaffs. Here is a brief description:
A deck of cards is produced and shuffled. A card is selected by the spectator and returned to the middle of the deck. The cards are then shuffled again, but the spectator if you wish, and the card is lost in the deck. A magical gesture is then made over the deck and the card disappears from it. The performer then removes his wallet from his pocket, opens it and removes the spectator's selected card.
There are a couple of other things too, like the fact that the card can be signed, the spectator can shuffle the deck both times and both the wallet and card can be removed from your pocket and the wallet by the spectator. As far as I know the method for this is unique and not in use in any other products. However, the point of this post was to ask if there are any card to wallet experts here who think they have seen this before. If so, please let me know, and I'll send you the method to see if it is similar.
I'll try to get a video of the effect up sometime soon so you can see what it looks like.
Thanks for taking the time to read through all of this,
mooch.
Edit: Sorry, I forgot to mention that there are no forces or anything either. Also, there really is only one card in the wallet, which is their signed card, and it can be in any of the pockets of the wallet too.
Edit 2: Just got a video of it up:

Sorry for the huge gap in the middle, I was talking to someone else and explaining what I was doing whilst I was going.
