But you can't save files from the trial.

:o I never knew that. People always say to me that they just download the trials.

People sell photoshop for but it now £150 on eBay and claim to be legit.

' Why is Davad Technolgy's pricing so much lower than my local computer shop?

Since we purchase thousands of packs of software every year we buy in much larger quantities than your local computer shop. Using this buying power we leverage better prices and pass the savings along to you. We dont have shop overheads, as we operate on a mail order only basis, which keeps out costs lower, and we pass these savings on to you. We specialise in academic licensed software, not available in local shops. '

As to Seige's question, I purchased Photoshop CS2 myself after running a web server for 2 and a half years. I also do graphic design work (not as a main profession.) Also, my dad works with computers (programming, graphics, and other random programs) and I get to be the guinea pig for a vast majority of these programs.

Edit: also forgot to mention my school has a VERY good student discount with this website called www.academicsuperstore.com . Adobe CS2.3 (didn't actually know they made a 2.3) at this point is only $379.95. If anybody wants a discount on software, you can contact me by PM and we can work something out if you want.

Edit 2: Some more products sold by academic super store. http://www.academicsuperstore.com/marke ... _id=244292

Also forgot to mention you can only buy 1 of each product (since the discount is so much)

I just tell my employers that I need an upgrade and then, as if by magic, it appears on my doorstep a few days later.

I'm with Seige though - if it wasn't for my employers, I'd probably still be plugging away on version 6 of Photoshop.

XTTX...

You're only 15 now (born Oct 16, 1991) and yet you 'ran' a webserver (a now defunct games server, from home I am guessing) for 2 years and made enough money to buy CS2???

As a 13 - 15 year old, was CS2 a better investment than say, something more 'teenage' oriented? Like Anime? Keep fit—track & field, Cross country, Basketball????

Most kids your age have around 700Gb of movies and music (or anime) on their hard drives. Usually downloaded torrents from the internet or ripped movies.

It's also not uncommon for hard drives to contain downloaded cracked software.

Not an accusation at all, more an observation.

Thanks for running a searh on me, but I'm not ashamed of downloading unlicensed anime seeing as it's not illegal and there is no way to view the series in the US while it's airing in Japan and not out on DVD. Aside from that, I'm interested in many hobbies, magic being a main one, yoyoing, and of course keeping fit. Spending $350 on CS2 was quite a good investment considering I am very computer oriented and am part of Business Professional of America (a nationwide school 'club') and am in the events of web dev and graphics design.
Also running a search for myself on google, the "defunct game server" you're talking I assume is the one found under 'xTTx' (that would not be me, I always capitalize all my letters)

I just use Photoshop Elements. Allows me to do most stuff and is really cheap. So my advice is to get that unless you are a pro or serious hobbyist.

You can save with the free trials. But of course it only lasts for a few days.

I also tend to use Paint Shop Pro. Although i do have CS2 on my machine due to my fathers work license with adobe, i prefer the layout and effects of Paint Shop Pro. Even though CS2 is a much more powerful program, I'm much rather use what i'd bought with my own money
