im not one much for coins, but one of the few i am decent with was one from an old b****r-coin dvd i saw...were you see clearly 3 coins in one hand, then they are dropped onto a table or wherever, and one has dissapeared....and gone straight through the table...

cant for the life of me remember what it's called though - sorry...

Coins

Coins across by far. I have a fully scripted 'start clean and end clean' routine that uses only four real coins and no gimmicks. It features early on in my act and establishes a great deal of legitimacy for the kind of close-up that I like doing.

glad to see theres someoe else who doesnt just think "coin unique" when coin magic is mentioned!

the coins across i use is based on Al Schneiders version (4 coins only and no gaffs).. which can then be followed by sh4de and with the addition of a few more coins an effect that i cant remember the name of but its on the NY Coin magic seminar dvd Vol 1

Coins

Mog: Al Schneider's stuff is brilliant. My own routine is a bit more 'open handed' than his, which adds to its effect and the reactions I get. I usually follow the routine with the old fashioned matrix, which has never let me down.

I have been practicing Wayne Houchin's 'sinful' - the one where the coin penetrates the beer can.

Thought I had it perfected but I used a 50p the first time I did it.

Now I can do it I always get a good reaction.

funny nobodys mentioned hopping halfs xp edition i use this one a lot as you get two gimicks with it that you can use in diferent routines, one can be a direct replacement to the butter coin.

I'm going to need a replacment soon so am in the market if someone has the exp version, many moons ago i had a chineese coin version witch i'd love to get again.

I have the old hopping halves 98, its not bad but its hard to find drivers for some of the new sleights

For me it has to be David Roths advanced copper silver routine, its short direct and extremely visual.
Before they know whats happening its over........ where have I heard that before.
