Ditto, but in fairness to the rules of the forum, I think it's also important to see how we got to this point. The guy set up a second account (originally quite legitimately it seems, because he couldn't get in to the original one), then seemingly used it as a sock puppet to plug his wares. Now he's openly insulting people and ranting at them. That's very poor form.

So, to get back on track, has anyone mentioned the Any Word Any Page test? I have it because I had a nasty feeling from the description that they'd discovered the principle behind my Naked Book Test. They haven't. The description is somewhat misleading, in that you do a lot of handling of the book, even though you can use any book. It's a nice piece of work, but don't expect the description to match the method too closely.

Fearson and Lybrary are sellingn this...are they the same?

think so..i bought one cos i thought it was using the same principle as my booktest...thankfully not my method either...

it's not bad though, good for a handy back-up kinda thing...i'd be inclined to combine it with a hoy touch and have two people select words..

Really? Banachek and I are like 'that' since I mentioned 'Psychological Subtleties'.

Switching the humour off, in case it doesn't translate well, you are, of course, right. I'd love to see abraxus's version and one from karl too.

Anyway, there are so many more book tests out there that haven't been mentioned. This thread has actually reminded me how many of the wretched things I have bought. It's lucky for my bank balance that some of the ones I wanted had gone out of print.

I stick by my earlier recommendation, for matching exactly what was requested, but the Master Key is good too.

BLANK BOOK-PRINT YOUR THOUGHTS

Postby karl » Sep 21st, '07, 14:23

"BLANK BOOK, BLANK MIND" (PRINT YOUR THOUGHTS)

Its very efective and totally indetectible.
You offert a spectator a 450 pages Blank book.
Spectator open it, and you aske him to select any page he likes, and to write at the bottom of the page, the page number he fils like it, and once this is down, in the same blank page, aske him to write a frase of about 10 words,
(Spectator , becomes the writer, not a bad idea ?)

Once this is finish, at 10 yards away, you describe the meaning of frase, and after start spelling letters, and ends up, saying the wholle frase.

Magicien nevers get near the book, or spectator

I've been pretty quiet about this whole Karl thing, but I'm starting to lose my patience. I understand he's a working pro and we should all respect that - but every single post is just more of Karl shilling his own products.

I've seen people reprimanded by the mods for this kind of behavior. I've even seen posts deleted as a result of it. It's one thing to recommend your own work in a tasteful way, (Tomo comes to mind) but these posts are nothing more than text-based advertisements. He's not adding anything to the discussion, and he's often abrasive when called on such things.

There's a difference between BEING a professional and ACTING like one. Having a reputation and marketed material shouldn't make you exempt from following the rules of the forum.

Since being nice to him, I've received countless PM's where he has asked me to comment on his sub-Uri Geller act and start threads about his products (particularly the $1200 mat he has coming out soon).

He has nothing to contribute and is here to promote himself and his products. Not having bought any of his effects, I am not going to review them for him.

My advice:
PAY FOR ADVERTISING!

Otherwise I will "review" them all over the net and say they're sh!t.

yeah, it's a shame, he's obviously got loads of experience in magic - just dont like the tactics being used to advertise...

i was even interested in his mat at one point...

anyway..back to booktests...i've recently dabbled with a bizarre version of a booktest, where a page is selected, and then burnt...

instead of it travelling mysteriously elsewhere, it splutters and spurts, and it slowly burns a trail within the page into an ever decreasing circle..when it finishes, it's burnt out/around the word that someone was thinking of...

The Dracula Booktest is one that has interested me for a long time.
Can anyone confirm for me this - is it the same word everytime or could you use more than one spec and reveal different things as you can with BIP book?

BOOK TEST: psycological mental MULTIREACTION

Postby karl » Sep 22nd, '07, 17:23

hI lORD fREDDIE
There we go...!!!

Remember about my explanation to you concerning
the PSYCOLOGICAL MENTAL MULTIREACTION ?

Well , its working, and the prooves that its work, are all the previous
topic replies, in witch everyone is attacking me about ...

ONE IS SUFICIENT.
Just one comment from someone about a subject, and there we go;
with everyone elses , also having something to say to about it to.....

And whats funny, is that for the past few days, i hav'nt write about anything, beside answering about book test
Anything wrong in saying that the one i like the most IS MINE???

ITS FANTASTIQUE
everybody is advertising for me, for free!!!!
The most you talk, the more poeple want to know, and the more they write......infact you all are ADVERTISING FOR ME !!!!

whats funy, is that you are all of you talking bettwen eachother (bad or good, who cares) about me, with out ME putting a word in here !!!

amazing. That prooves the theory we talk about the other day freddie.
concerning MIND CONTROL , AND SUBJECTIVITY.
infact: 'Psychological Subtleties'
MENTALY CONTROLING A GROUP OF PERSONES, WITH OUT THEY EVEN FEEL IT THEM SELF

I use to use this tecknique on stage sometimes.
Its quite efective, also in using the Kata Suyamu book test.

TO FREDDIE
concerning your comments about my pms, (can publish copy if you want), you forgot to say that YOU ARE THE ONE WHO HAVE SENT ME FEW PMs asking a lot of questions and informations about my items, MY FLAMING WALLETS, and mostly concerning your special interes in my coming out soon ELECTRONICAL MENTAL MAT, and also ASKING ME TO SEND YOU VIDEOS ABOUT MY METAL BENDINGS ect....
So stop playing here in public infront of your friends, "ohh poor litle me...Karl send me blz blz blz...."
YOU ARE THE ONE WHO ASKED FOR ALL I DID SENT YOU;

Your attitude here show me , that hypocresy donyt have limits.
Anyway
Sory but I keep saying that the best book test today is mine.
with all the respect to all other friends, with all differents opinion.

l will be delighted to send a free copy if someone whant one and send me a pm. (its copyright protected)

very friendly to everyone,
love, karl
