And the Greeks, who had lots of Gods, knew not only that the world was round but also managed to measure the circumference quite accurately too.
I think this thread really comes into its own and holds real value if we step outside of it to consider whether we'd prefer a strong and gentle figure guiding us or a cold universe in which we must struggle; it's about what's comfortable to believe about our place in reality and, let's be frank now, what we'd like to believe happens when "it" happens. We need to talk about our personal fear of "it", rather than what we think has made us pop into existence without being consulted.
