Exactly. It's just what you're personally used to.
When I've been using a hammered deck for a while and then crack open a new one, or even go back to a broken in one, it takes me a bit to get used to a new deck again, no matter what the brand.
So it's just what you get used to using I think. So if you're used to using Tallys, then you'll say Tallys are better.

But I know what you mean about the vipers. Too slippery feeling, and the print quality is not so good. White spots in the silver, and I even got an extra 5 of clubs in one pack. Didn't notice it until someone pointed out there were 2 five of clubs during a trick. :x

Really? Do you REALLY have a brick of Studs laying around or was that to sound cooler on the Internet?

It's not an ACTUAL brick (I don't have a box for them) but I have 12 unopened decks that I picked up a while ago. I mainly got them because the back design seemed like a decent pattern for a marking system I was working on, so I bought up a bunch of decks because of that (and the fact that they're cheaper than bikes).

As for the "cool" thing - hardly merits a response...

so if you used Studs you would know they last about 5x longer than Bikes.

I couldn't say so, no. I've heard the same things said about Tally Ho's - every single Ellusionist deck - but I don't feel they last any longer than a standard bike deck.

Longevity of the deck also depends on use - not just the quality of the stock. I don't do an awful lot of manipulation/flourish work, so my decks probably last longer than yours, on average. However, I can't say they last longer than any others.

This is starting to get a bit too "playground taunt" for my taste. You love the cards, that much is true. I think they're a lovely ordinary deck of cards. I'll keep my eye on the ebay trends, and maybe in a year or so I'll sell you the rest of my decks. Sound fair?

Just as soon as you tell me a manipulation or flourish routine that can ONLY be performed with a pack of Studs.

Seriously - this is getting childish.

Do you really want a picture of these decks that badly? What reason would I have for lying about having a few decks of cards?

I notice you ignored my question yet again. Seems to me you haven't proven your side of the argument, why should I offer any evidence of mine?
