The pass with smaller hands

Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

well...it did for me anyway :P

I noticed that with a crappy webcam. When I was learning the DL webcam was not showing any of the flashes I made on my DL push-off. :D

So far it hasn't been spotted.

My wife was like ... I know you're picking up 2 cards when you do it this way (how I was doing my DL before). I changed the actual turning over of the card to a knockout DL and my wife didn't spot it. It took like 4 days of just practicing a new DL. It was totally worth it.

There is a really nice demo from Tyler Harrison on You Tube regarding the classic pass. His hands don't look too big and he makes it virtually invisible.

Hmm......just tested the link and it doesn't work unless you copy and paste it into the address line.

hermmann pass...sheer genius...good cover too, i've got kinda small hands, found that much easier...

though i would say do NOT use bridge cards, unless you use them all the time...its worth the effort to practise using poker sized ones if that's what you'll use otherwise...

do it slowly, step by step, til you get the moves down, then start thinking about angles/positioning, and most importantly, doing it whilst the person involved is directed elsewhere...

hmm, I don't have big hands either.. as far as the classic pass is concerned though, it should be done when no one's looking anyhow. As for me, I'm more concerned about the breaking point just before the actual action being exposed than the action itself - if that makes any sense!

Classic pass - I think it's all about timing!

The best bit of advice I ever received on the pass is tilting the deck at a 45 degree angle toward the spec. This covers any flashing that might happen after the upper half has slid off.

The invisible pass is the one i use most often but I do it a little differently. Looks far less suspicious
