Glad to hear its all over and done with, and a positive outcome to boot.
I just hope you can put it all behind you and move on buddy.
Also good to hear your coin work is moving forward, I had the exact same result when I started using some grip lotion. Its amazing the difference that stuff makes.

Did you play him at pool? and when he wasnt looking did you load a sock with pool balls?? I'll teach you not to hear me out sun shine... Heres a tip when being interogated start speaking in a very put on accent I my self use a french one, then jump on the chair and shout some ramdom stuff. Like Clint Eastwood knows my granny.

Any way nice to know you didnt get sacked.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

Well - I've just picked up on this thread and from what you've written, it sounds very much as if your employers don't know their *rse from their elbow when it comes to employment legislation. From what you have written they have breached a number of areas that any tribuneral would find against them for, even if you HAD been guilty which you weren't!

There are a number of points that they cannot legally raise against you if they have already disciplined someone. An employer should deal with both people together as part of one investigation as the events are linked and then find one, both or neither in breach of their policy and only then take disciplinary action. Because the other party had been dismissed, even for a written warning you could claim that you were denied the opportunity to have the other person questionned to substantiate your claims. Also, were you allowed to take a colleague or a staff union/association rep in with you? They should have told you of your rights at the start of the meeting as well.

You may wish to let sleeping dogs lie if they ae true to their word but if you feel that in any way they begin to treat you differently then you have a case. First written warnings are usually on file for no more than six months.

What you went through is workplace violence and they failed to provide you on hat occasion with a safe place of work if you wish to get technical. There are all sorts that you could do to tie them up from now on if you wish....

Anyway, good luck and perhaps you've had enough of it for the time being.

I know Dat.. thats why Im happy with the outcome.. I have them in the pocket.. easier to manipulate than a TT!!

I found out .. and check this out.. the only reason they pulled me up for disciplinary was because the guy who got sacked has friends inside.. on my team.. the ones who now ignore me.. who put on a BIG BIG show to the manager.. and DEMANDED something be done with me.. that was overheard by the a couple of the very few people I really trust...

and the manager and HR rep kind of hinted beforehand that they need 'to be seen' to keep in line with policy and be fair!! I have 2 witnesses now who heard my manager say to those nimcombtwits '' Ill deal with it '' just to keep a few of his staff happy!!

Who's got the upper hand now ?

Im not bothered right now as Ill never be pulled up for anything in future and am making plans to move on from here once my web design course is complete.. but for now.. i've got them by the balls!!

I.D

good on you for not fighting back it takes a man to walk away from a fight just go to show that you are better then them and I would not let them get the best of you as long as your doing the right thing thats all that matters. and it is good that you tell your boss becuase it could happen to some one els or make your working day harder and you do not need to see them out of work go in do your job then go home m8. im glad its all worked out for you.

That's a good outcome from a bad situation there I.D.

For some reason it brought up the idea of that Scene in Fight Club where Ed Norton beats himself up in his bosses office in order to not come into work and still get full pay.
Did you think of doing that?
