The book should be fine. I have the book and it's fairly easy to follow. Then again if you'd rather learn by viewing (my personal preference) then I'd get the dvd. I'll probably pick it up myself after going through RRTCM DVD set.

Best thing to do magios
is buy the book fest study it then when your getting better looking to buying the 4 set modern coin magic DVD or do it the other way round buy the DVD then buy the book its what’s best for you .You will not lose out iver way they are both good buyers and so much to learn from



I can now say after about 6 months of hard studying practicing and learnig the names of the DVD one I can all most move on to the next CD I just keep going back and practicing the CDs . I found after studying the DvD I find when reading the book I know the next method and name before turning the page . for example the page classic palm the next page would be the edge palm then the the thumb palm etc.
