It sounds like a nice effect, but a card to sealed bag of crisps came out a couple of years ago.

A similar effect is in David Roth's Ultimate Coin Magic 4.

Dime In Sugar Packet - a borrowed dime vanishes, only to be found sealed in a sugar packet that was in plain sight all the time.

It's a nice sounding idea but with so many coin through this and coin through that effects out there, do you think you're offering something different enough to be able to sell?

Unfortunately (for you, I'm afraid) is that even if your method is substantially different to others, the others will still work and have the same effect on spectators. What would then be the motivation for someone to buy your effect rather than use a method they already know? Even if they didn't have a method, why would buying yours be preferable to spending a similar amount on a large book of effects, that includes a signed coin to sugar packet?

The financial return of any sales you did make would be so low it would hardly be worth bothering. If recognition is what you're after, publishing in a magic magazine would serve you better.
