There is no /public_html/ folder. All i got atm is cgi-bin, cgi-data and then the phpBB2 file. Instructions from here would help as i've never used phpBB2 before lol

This means that you are in public_html/ - discard the phpbb file and install the files in the folder you see when you log in (the one with the cgi-bin)

Um... I looked at the site thats working... and um.. ya..

It needs some work. There are a couple of grammar and spelling mistakes.
And your site in general needs some work.

I think some copyright laws are being broken. Using a picture from E, do you have thier permission?

Your a professional at the age 16... okay, with "many years of experience".

Your also offering tutoring, "teaching", of magic. Are you really truely qualified to do this? Are you going to be teaching orginal effects? Or do you plan on teaching stuff you learned on dvds and books? Are you charging? IS this really ethical?

Or are you just going to help people learn, from books and dvds they already bought? -assistining them in their problem areas...

And offereing to advanced people? what? wouldnt you have to be better than them? so your over advanced? At 16?

I see problems with this whole thing.

I say whats on my mind, and I dont sugar coat my opinion.

I talked to some other magicians (real professionals) about your site, and they agree with me.

Hey guys me again,

Having a few more problems...

How do i pin topics and is it possible to edit them once they've been locked?
Also is it possible to apply a skin to the free version of phpBB2 and if so how.?

Cheers in advance

Sam

In which case, if Krazy Ace is 16 he can't be a member of The Magic Circle... and if he's a member of The Young Magician's Club - their youth initiative - he can't say he's a member of The Magic Circle. I know they're quite definite on that matter...

Yes, it is, and it's an absolutely terrible thing to do.

You want to take that down NOW before you hear from The Magic Circle about it - they take these kinds of matters, the use of their emblem, very seriously indeed.

But you meant to get into some?

Yeah you want to be careful with that kind of thing - not only were you misusing their emblem (which could reflect badly on them) but I'm sure there could have been a law violated there about misrepresenting yourself...

Anyhoo, seems like it's all sorted now. Something to bear in mind there though...

the free package on freehostia.com does me fine. They have everything you need apart from the actuall domain name which I bought for a tenner at freeparking.com. (2 years for £10)
