Absolutely Gutted

Postby I.D » May 17th, '07, 11:48

Hey all

After all the effort and hard work I have put into magic since last year, and despite my best efforts to make magic a part of my life, I have no choice but to give up magic completely.

I have had the best time here and have learned so much from all you guys!!

Ill miss magic more than Ive ever missed anything so TM will remain in my heart I guess for the rest of my days.

Good luck to each and everyone of you, I wish you all the best. Even the people that despise me, I respect you and have learned from you too -- no hard feelings.

Yours Truly

I.D

p.s subsequently, everything I own will have to be painstakingly sold :( and it will kill me to let my possessions go, just PM me if your interested in anything, and should I bring myself to sell it Ill let you know

LONG LIVE TM

signinin out resentfully

I.D - I just can't believe this, I really can't

Are you sure this is what you want?

If so, of course, it's your decision alone - but...I'm sure I'm not alone in saying you'll be sadly-missed.

As mentioned (albeit jokingly) yesterday, I'll still happily take Paint Surprise off your hands...

All the very best for the future, whatever you decide, bud :D

Don't go

Postby jacko » May 17th, '07, 11:58

Mate,

Surely "completely" is drastic - can you not cut back rather than leave completely. I have always enjoyed reading your comments (even/especially the slightly ranty ones  )

I realise I don't know the circumstances and may be being completely inappropriate - if so I am really sorry.

Anyway I hope you don't have to leave and can find some middle ground!

All the best.

Richard

You're knocking it on the head completely?? :o

it must be something pretty drastic!

You have put a lot of effort in, as said above can you not just cut back a little?

not a fan of sigs, so I won't bother adding o..... oh

But I.D, why?????

Why give up something that you love, something that you've spent so much time and effort on?

And with your super new effect on the horizon?

It seems quite drastic to me too. Magic can be studied full time, part time, occasionally. maybe whatever the resson is just cut back on the time/money aspect and continue magic on the back burner.

It just seems a shame to have wasted all that energy

wihout going into detail

I need to give it up in an ATTEMPT to get back what I may have lost. Cutting down just wont be helpful to my cause.

Well it'll be a real shame to see you go but if that's really what you have to do, then best of luck with it.

Take care :D

I.D mate sorry to see you go, you are by far one of the better members here and everyone enjoys your posts. I hope one day you can find magic again and carry on. Seriously TM isn't gonna be the same without you and I think I speak for most here that were gutted aswell. Good luck in whatever you choose to do next.

well..in all seriousness, there are other things far, far more important than magic...let's not forget that....

i left it for a short while, left here too for a month or so 'cos sometimes just have to...and its a lesson that can only be learnt the hard unfortunately...

to quote John Lennon "Life is what happens to you when you are busy making other plans"...

good luck I.D.

Thats bad ID I and I'm sure everyone else will be sad to see you go!! But its sounds like you have more important things to be sorting out.

So good luck in the future and hopefully things will work it well in the end. You should pop in sometimes to let us know how your getting on though.

Can anybody please help me? I'm having terrible problems controlling my streetmagic- I can't walk down a street without turning into a pub.
