Give him a shout via PM or on his thread and see what the reaction is. :D

Whatever, have a good one and enjoy yourself.

Have a drink or two for me Mark, I'm away for a couple of weeks on Friday so will have to join to in spirit only - with a nice bottle of full bodied Italian Red :D !

I went to the Theatre Bar a few years ago and was glad I did. Doc Easson was performing from a small bar top, including his card under glass effect. Wouldn't have missed it for anything. If I remember, the tickets said that you only had to stay in the chosen area while you had your hotpot, but you were free to move between bars and shows. I went up to the Spanish Bar once the close up had finished.

The Theatre Bar was more relaxed, which is what I enjoyed after sitting through hours of a Gala show. The last thing I wanted was to sit in an audience for another hour or two.
Just thought I would give the other side of the coin, but remember you aren't stuck with having to stay with one or the other all the time.

I think your wording: "A few years ago" pretty much describes it.
We can't keep on living in the past. We live in the present! :)
Last year, the Theatre Bar was dull, with very few people that left quite early and when me and my friends left, there were only about 10 people left.
You can choose either the Theatre Bar or the Spanish Hall, (not Bar). You can not pick one and then leave and go to the other one. The staff checks for the tickets and they are pretty strict about it.
Please make sure that the coin you use is still valid.

And I still think this "VIP vs. commoners" is a very bad idea and just displays the organizer's greed of money, or what?
