Michael Kras in the Linking Ring -One Man Parade!

Postby mark lewis » Jun 11th, '07, 23:23

My suspicions that we have a child genius on this forum has been confirmed. I must admit that when my Linking Ring magazine arrived today I got quite a shock to see that young Michael had several pages devoted to his ideas. A One Man Parade no less.

I hope all his critics here will take note and let their jaws drop just as I did. I haven't read his ideas yet but I am sure the Linking Ring wouldn't print them if they were not of a good standard.

He really should be congratulated by everyone here on his acheivement and you should be proud he is part of this forum since I don't see too many One Man Paraders here.

I hope all his detractors will feel the same way I felt when I rejected a 14 year old David Britland only to find out later on that he was somewhat more wonderful than I gave him credit at the time.

Congratulations Michael.

Use the search function - this is old news (if you cared).

Click here. Please note the date.

I am terribly sorry. I didn't see this. You must remember that I am a very busy and important person and cannot view every thread here.

We professional magicians have things to do you know.

However again I do congratulate our child genius. I have no idea if his ideas are any good or not and I don't think it matters a whit if he cuts and pastes them on here since not everyone here is an IBM member.

As for the ridiculous assertion that it is illegal to post his own musings on a magic forum I hardly think the IBM has time to be sueing 14 year old kids. Of course there is the issue of public exposure of tricks so young Michael may wish to consider this aspect of things.

On second thoughts he had better not post his stuff here. Joan Caesar might give him a disapproving look when she next sees him which will probably be next week. She is now one of the bosses of the IBM I am told.

If he is going to the CAM convention in a few days he will not see Mark Lewis who will be in a foreign country where they do not speak the Queen's English. Of course they don't do that in the United States or Canada either. However he will see Paul Pacific and he should introduce himself and tell him that he wishes to enter a most secret place. Paul will know what he is talking about and will arrange everything.

You can still use the search function, if you give a damn at all. Your fingers ain't broke.

However he will see Paul Pacific and he should introduce himself and tell him that he wishes to enter a most secret place. Paul will know what he is talking about and will arrange everything.

Assuming this is true, then anyone here who reads it, myself included, can now use the information.

Wouldn't this have been more appropriate in a PM?

No. I prefer an audience. Nature of the beast I am afraid.

No. Not anyone can use the information. However Paul does know all about you. I am afraid I doubt very much if he will be inclined to help you gain admission.

Inappropriate.

Bad form, if you will.

Sorry, one other thing:

I have no idea if his ideas are any good or not...

Then why don't you (simply) read the article of which you speak so highly?

oh come on, I'm getting quite tired of all the silly little bitchy sniping that's going on here.

Mark, if you're trying to provoke an arguement, then please don't.

Michael, Mark's looking for someone to take his bate, just ignor him.

And to young Michael Kras, if he has got his effects in Linking Ring, then congratulations to him!!!
