and not a single mention of the undervalued Lemon Puff!

Shocking

I have to stay away from Jaffa cakes as they are far too addictive. I am currently campaigning to put them on the dangerous substance register

typical conversation is as follows

These are not proper tea cakes they have no jam...

Is anyone going to put in a mention of Wagon Wheels? Not the current shirt button sized things but the proper Weston's Wagon Wheels which were, or seemed to be, about 3ft in diameter and full of scrummy stuff.

These aren't JUST teacakes, they're Marks & Spencer teacakes.

Talking of pink chocolate (which we were yesterday, Tomo...) does anyone remember those horrible little pink choccie pig heads that you could get pic'n'mix?

Like Tomo, I had a bit of a ralph/huey moment after eating a load of those after going swimming as a nipper. And I can't stand even seeing them since, and luckily I think God decided to stop them being made.

Another chunder-inducing snack biscuit I remember from childhood which I seem to recall almost vividly were E.T. biscuits... which came in orange and green and had concentric circle patterns on them. They were kind of like custard creams, but MUCH more sickly.

Interestingly enough, I still love drinking cider...

...Odd, that.

Ewww no, Cider is the Devil's bumcrack sweat...

It only takes being sick ONCE after drinking proper scrumpy to put you off for life. Even the smell of cider these days gives me spasmodic regurgitation lurches.

Jaffa cakes are infact cakes and not buscuits. (this arguement was settled in the high courts over a tax issue on cake vs biscuit or some daft name)

Still they are my fav "Biscuit" though and many of my races have been won fueled by this wonderful creation. Of course there is one rule. You have to eat the whole packet once opened and after hours of debate on the subject (yes lots of time sat around at reggattas) Aldi jaffa cakes came out on top. Though for me personally I'll never be seperated from the McVities variety.

I also quite like the supermarket cookies you can buy with about 4 in a pack esp when they're still warm and gooey.

Actually yes, I did on page 2.

People tend to read past my posts though, cos I'm so infinitely boring and meaningless.

I think someone might have mentioned them but I can't for the life of me remember who it was
