Cheers guys.
Hey Benny boy, good luck in Vegas you lucky thing!
kevsashark and Blapsing_Beard: When I'm not feeling too confident I do things with little skill but high impact like Stigmata or wiregrams. Never thought much of wiregrams before as I couldn't work out of a way to introduce the wire. Now though, I just say about being at a recent party and that this is the wire from a champagne bottle. Nobody has ever questioned it. Then I wrap a flash tenner round it and light. Have done this surrounded and people absolutely love it. And with the flash notes people think you're either burning real money or they credit you with some swift undetected sleight of hand. But i need to learn more forces as I can only do the slip-cut which is still a beautiful force.
Also, the I bought the Raven a couple of years ago but for some reason just found its way into my bottom drawer. Dusted it off a few months ago and now I love it. It's permanately attached to my clothing. Or reattached, as I do change my clothes! But with a 2p shell changing into a 10p and people are just dumbstuck.
Have any of you got Jesse Feinberg's Coin Thru Box? I use it with a cigarette pack and it really is very nice indeed.
Anyway, I can do some reasonable moves and changes and flourishes with cards, but I need to work on my misdirection skills and stop worrying that I'm gonna mess up the move. Otherwise, I may as well be signposting it for the spectator - 'Please look away, as I am about to do sneaky things you shouldn't be aware of ...'
[kevsashark wrote] Oh, and do they still make that Fisher Price set?? I'd love to get it for my nephew (and turn him to the dark arts before he gets too old for me to influence)
You got me wondering on this and I found this sight:

It is the exact same set I had. Almost poked a little tear of nostalgia from me for lost innocence! [/quote]
