Still the Classic for me. I just the new 160Gb model. I just couldn't cope with only 16Gb for the touch... no matter how cool it looks.

You've not done your homework on Leopard! Time machine is much more than a cool look for external hard drives, it's closer to the Holy Grail of backup utilities... and no, you don't need an external... just a partition.
seige wrote:3. And if someone sends me a file from a windows office program, and I have the apple mac version of the program, will I still be able to read it?
Well, Apples' iWork costs about £60, and will open any† Microsoft office document.
Failing that, there's NeoOffice, which is free, and rocks.
Both iWork and NeoOffice compared to MS Office are like comparing the Space Shuttle with a paper aeroplane... †

Actually iWork is only available as a 30 day trial on a new mac. But still, £55 for the full program is hardly worth arguing over!

HenryHoudini wrote:I've done my homework! I understand it's more than a cool look, I just don't usually need to back things up. I know there's some way to have the files automatically go to a computer on your network. Can anyone help me out with that? Unless it's easy. I'll find out in 1 hour and 36 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
