Apart from the obvious essential name, address and proof of age details, he has to tick boxes to indicate his ethnic background, Black, White, Chinese, English, Irish and so on. As he phrased it, does my ethnic background make any #@&%$* difference to how I get on the bus or where I sit? Good question.

I've actually filled in an application form, where the equal oppurtunities part asked what my sexual orientation was. And no, it wasn't scribbled out :
