Nice one! Being a uke player myself, I recommend a site called Alligator Boogaloo. Loads of sheet music to print off and learn. 'Sing' by The Carpenters and 'Something' by The Beatles both sound good on the uke and are a joy to play.

I was in the process of forming a uke group (as I convinced about six of my chums to buy one and learn) and we started converting guitar chords into uke keys. We had a stunning ukulele version of The Sweet's "Ballroom Blitz" on the go.

aye, I've been frequenting alligator boogaloo and have got most of my current Uke stuff from the (Uke- a technical term used by us ukulele folk).

Once I have the chords commited to memory I will be working on transfering some of my favourite stuff I currently play on the guitar.

Yes, keep an eye out for 'greedoniz plays Trojan ska on the Uke' coming to a store near you.

I've said it before and I've said it again, all Morrissey/Smiths songs can be made to sound like George Formby. Try "This Charming Man" and "You're The One For Me, Fatty" and you will see what I mean. In fact, I have a buck-toothed comedy character called George Smith (buck teeth, flowers in his back pocket, hearing aid) who does this. His catchphrase is "Turned out miserable again!"

Who said anything about singing?!!

It's like living with a verbal version of the Duracell bunny at times - on and on and on and on and on and on and on.... (and if you read this, I'm only joking dearest  !)
