The most enduring thing I have received from the festive day thus far is a monster hangover. So I'm nicely esconced on my sofa dribbling into the Art of Astonishment series and eating chocolate orange, lovely.

I got Jon Thompson's "Naked Mentalism", which I look forward to diving into next week. That was my only "mystical" item, I did however get some other cool things, such as...

ELECTRIC SHOCK TANKS! Yes, radio controlled tanks that have laser cannons and give you an electric shock through your handset when you get hit. Genius.

(Unfortunately my Morrissey chop cup didn't come before Christmas :( But I'm hoping it won't be long).

A broken hand =(

My magic stuff has not arrived yet, not that I can do much with it anyway. Bu what was ordered was "totally out of control" by kenner, the sponge toolbox and a bunch of other stuff.

Magic-wise, my wife got me a Haunted Key & Book from Magic Shop, and Self Tying Shoelaces.

I kind of 'treated' myself to Farlsborough's recently advertised Third Degree Burn, which my CUPS Delivery Office (my mum and dad's) informed me arrived this morning, and Masuda's Wow! which arrived from Hong Kong on Christmas Eve, so I was able to wow my guests during my Christmas Day magic show for friends and family.

Non magic-wise, my mum and dad got me a Sat Nav, because I have absolutely no sense of direction, and have gotten lost driving the 3 miles to my local Tescos on 2 occasions so far. I also got Super Mario Galaxy and The Simpsons Game for my Wii, and my wife and kids got me Transformers, Simpsons Movie, Doctor Who Series 3, Still Game Series 1-5 and 24 Season 6 DVDs, a new pair of baffies (that's slippers for those who speak regular English) and a box of Walnut Whips. Super-perb and spoiled rotten.

I got truely spoiled this Christmas. The other half has be really unwell this year, and so I've had to look after her a lot. Apparently she had been saving all year to ensure christmas was a good one as a kind of thank you. So I was greeted with a great big pile of book shaped presents on Christmas morning. The pile included hauntiques, the book of haunted magick, the mental magick of basil horwitz 1-5, psychological subtleties 2 and in search of the sensational. I wont mention them all so as not to make me too unpopular here, but yeah...I had a good one! :D 8)
