The meetings usually take place at the Lyceum Tavern on The Strand in Central London but this month we are having a special outing to alakazam magic shop in sunny Ashford on the 26th Jan.

The next London one I should think would be 23rd Feb or a week either side.

Is there a standard you have to demonstrate to join in?

yes, you must be able to sink a fair few pints and still do a trick or 2
:D

seriously though, not at all. A good interest is more important than a high standard.

Yes, you have to be able to name a trick or a book that Markdini doesn't think is c*** (not the best)!

I'm a testiment to both those statements.

However it is very beneficial to drink a proper drink too (unless you are tee-total) as we already have one male attendee who insists on drinking spritzers and other type alcho totty pops so another might be too much for me to cope with.

This is very true. Also you have to arm wrestle me.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.

Oh, drinking beer is no problem for me....well, thats not entirely true, it does get to be a problem sometimes, usually just after I fall over.

So, what time of day do these meets happen, I am some distance from London (Oxford) but we have a great bus service and I would love to come along and meet some of the names from the forum.

I must warn you that I am going to be the old fart in the group though

I'm gonna be 40 this year

As for Greedo being the chair, I like that idea, the chair should always buy the odd round....

....by that I mean the first, the third, fifth, seventh.....
