Mark was found dead yesterday afternoon. There is speculation he was found hanged.
Its really sad news. I grew up with him and will miss seeing his lovely happy face.
Sophie.
I loved watching Mark on Smart, and general Kids' TV when I was (even) younger. Such a sad way to go. It must be hell for his and his girlfriend's families.....
Such a loss...............
James, 19, Lifelong student of magic and will carry on learning for the rest of my days if I'm a very lucky boy.
I dont understand why the police didnt do more to find Mark before it was too late.
And that makes me very sad and angry. My face is sore ive been so upset by whats happened.
Please don't think I'm unsympathetic Sophie, but search "missing persons" into google and see how many sites come up. Mark's disappearance and subsequent death are tragic, but far from unique in circumstances. There are many people up and down the UK who are in a state of constant anxious waiting for their loved ones to come home - I'm not sure diverting police resources so majorly for one man as you suggest would have been a very kind thing to do. Remember, Mark's fame and recognisable face actually already put him at an advantage in terms of being identified.
I have to say—in my cynical way—that suicide is very selfish, it just leaves a trail of distress to those left behind. The tragedy isn't the loss of Mark, it's more the thought of the suffering of those around him.
There may be many people go missing all the time but im talking about Mark here.
A truly gifted, unique, caring and wonderful guy who took his own life beause his heart was broken.
I will miss him very very much. He's to be grieved for its such a sad loss.

...And in the process, broke another set of hearts... does this mean all those that he left behind will do the same??? I do hope not, this could prove to be exponentially problematic.
