I can't envisage Nigella in mauve and lime green lycra. Hey, no envisaging her out of it! I think she'd opt for basic, figure-hugging, black lycra. :)

I decided to keep NFW simple. I think that making routines over-complicated is an easy trap to fall into. It makes it more difficult to perform and actually might make the effect less impressive and possibly easier for the spectator to work out (at least in terms of identifying that the magician did something "funny"). Just my view, of course.

I couldn't agree more on the NFW! thing (and Nigella!) - KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid!) is a very good watchword. When I see over complex routines, I just lose interest - I know something's going on but I don't want the performer to take all day over it. Perhaps I'm just impatient?
