One important point about the kung-fu trick that they didn't mention is the way the paper is folded.

Make sure the open end of the V is toward you so it can catch the air stream. If the point of the V is facing you, the air will flow around it. This is how the magician (don't recall who it was) guaranteed the spectator couldn't do the trick -- he set up the paper the other way round.

That particular trick was actually taught my Daniel Garcia in one of his project DVD's. The third one I think. I don't know if Daniel invented it, or if it was his handling of it, but the three phases where exactly the same as he taught them, even with the glass at the end, and the beard rubbing

Yep :) Daniel Garcia taught it as "Joe Blow" on The Project Vol. 3 DVD. There's no way he invented it, but I think R Paul Wilson's demonstration almost certainly came right from Daniel's version, especially with the beard rubbing, which Garcia patters is "charging the finger up with static" or some similar shtick.

I liked the touch of drawing an "enemy" on the paper. Gives the whole idea more of a plot rather than just "Look at me; I can make a bit of paper fall over".
