In a lecture i did for Wam a few years ago, i dressed up a pom pom prayer stick like a christmas cracker.
Its not difficult to do.
the pom poms became christmas baubles, and the patter was about how crackers are always more exciting before you pull them, but when you do finaly crack them open, they usualy contain nothing.
but the funny thing is... when you get another cracker, teh magic comes back and you get excited all over again
