Good GOD, that's a classic!!

It is indeed a classic, but it drags on way too long.

Okay... so I'm resurrecting an old thread, but figured I'd get flamed if I started a whole new one...

I've just been reminded of the existance of one of the most fabulous creature features of the last two decades:

Frankenfish - It's a wonderful cheap and cheerful rollercoaster ride!

Oh, and on the subject of creature features, I'm also very fond of Eight Legged Freaks

But there's just something sublimely wonderful about Frankenfish. :)

MiB is a calssic as well... Now MiB 2 that's a stinker who someone may secretly love.

Evil Dead
Jesus Christ Vampire Slayer
The Toxie series from Troma films
The Tick (TV show but it deserves an honorable mention)

Oddly, I liked MiB2 more than MiB...

And the Evil Dead is a work of sheer brilliance, considering its market niche and budget. And it's a darn site more entertaining than some of Raimi's later movies (thinks Spiderman 3 and The Gift). I personally think he reached his peak with A Simple Plan. That was outrageously wonderful - although Chaucer should have been credited with the original story.

Ok so a little disclosure.

I own more than 500 dvd's. Of which easily 150 are ones I collected because I felt they should never have been made.

No one should be able to talk people into a) giving money and b) giving people a script and having them STILL willing to be on film in said film.

So I could just decimate this list with things no one has probably ever heard of :)

I will however through one out there I refuse to buy but I watch it when it comes on tv... Krull

krull was an excellent film, as was the sword and the sorcerer, and hawk the slayer...

Krull was brilliant. We all had a go at converting our frisbees into that thing he had....Glaive? I really wanted one :D

Xanadu - so bad it was good. Plus anything with Olivia Newton John gets my vote.

Lady in the Water - One of THE most incredible films I have ever seen and I never tire of watching it, but I don't tell people any more cos I'm the only person in the world who likes it! Shyamalan is a genius and can do no wrong for me.

Sound of Music - There, I said it!! What'ya gonna do about it?! Sickly sweet, but when it's on, I just can't help watching it! Hypnotic.

Dirty Dancing - Awesome! Jennifer Grey is gorgeous. Great feel good factor movie, apparently. The music's not bad either.

I think I've humiliated myself enough for tonight.

I am the Hole Tempting Champion! Look at my avatar for proof ;-)

Well buy Excalabur while you are at it... not that it belongs in this list because it was ABSOLUTELY FAN FREAKING TASTIC.

You will never see full armor full chainmail actors fighting against each other again... that and well Patrick Stuart.

Yeah, then she went and had a nose job! That killed her career dead except for a brief cameo in Friends. Did none of her advisers/managers/friends think to tell her that it was her nose that made her stand out from the crowd?? Worst plastic surgery decision ever. Except for that bird off Men Behaving Badly.
