I ordered three decks of these last week and they arrived this morning - very weird to see these strange cards and I'm going to let a colleague try fanning them the righthanded way just to see the look on his face when all the cards seem blank! Included with the deck is a complete mirror image AS with even the words 'Bicycle 808' and 'The US Playing Card Co Cincinnati USA' reversed and that one might come in handy for a mirror image type of routine - if only I can thnk of one....

Chad Long used to do a nice little routine involving reverse fanning a standard deck of cards so the deck appeared blank. Briefly, you contrive to have the Ace of Diamonds, Clubs or Hearts on the face of the deck and it looks like you have a blank deck when you reverse fan it (with the aid of some clever finger positioning, of course). You've got to be careful to keep the fan pretty tight, though, or it won't work. You can then "restore" the pips at your leisure. Try it and see. It's a nice little effect. Certainly original, anyway.

Perhaps a Presto Printo-type effect?

I wore a watch on my right wrist from the moment I was given a Timex for my 7th birthday, that is until some adult told me that was wrong. I've worn it on the left ever since.

I had the mouse pointer hovering over the purchase button for those lefty cards. But, since buying a couple of Fournier decks a week or so ago, I haven't picked up a bicycle deck.

The Lefty cards are up to the usual USPCC standard so they're good quality, albeit probably more of a novelty - unless you use individual cards in other effects and ring the changes. The people who supply them mentioned to me that they occasionally like to switch them in during a game of poker and watch the players' faces when they cautiously fan their hands and see...nothing at all!

Haha, brilliant! A blank flush.

I've never worn makeup, but I'm sure I'd use my left hand to apply it. (Trying hard to remember all those times I used face paints for fancy dress costumes. Left-handed, surely.)

I brush my teeth left-handed. Tried holding the toothbrush with my right hand and felt (and looked) like a chimp.

My hair is so long that I have to use both hands to brush it.

But I've always used right-handed scissors, for the simple reason that when I was a tiny thing just learning how to cut and paste, they were the only scissors around. I've tried using lefty scissors once or twice and found them clumsy.
