A Magic effect I have been working on

Postby TimLeStrange » Oct 24th, '09, 22:34

I am practicing this and I apologise in advance for the webcamish antics as the sounds off as I made it on windows media player. so just added any song on it after.

The Pledge: You have a deck of playing cards show everyone the cards put them into the deck and into a black protector, Tell them to name any card you wave your hand over the deck.

The Turn: You produce the card which is wrong, you say something like well It is kind of hard to get the correct card its actually a 1 in 52 chance, as you say this you put the protector back on

The Prestige: When you do this the deck vanishes all together

*Hint its a good little effect to finish up your card set*

QUESTION:
If we can sue McDonalds for making us fat and cigarette companies for giving us cancer; why can't we sue Smirnoff for all the ugly gits we've sh*gged ??

When you place the deck in the black case, don't turn the case over straight away - pause a little to give the audience time to reflect on what's happened .... then turn the case over to reveal that it's empty.

Also, when you pull the card outta the deck, there's no need to point out the rest of the cards in the deck. The audience expects (and can indeed see for themself) a normal deck of cards. You're drawing unnecessary attention where it's not needed.

I forgot I put this on youtube over 2 years ago. Mine has a slightly different twist on it, but you might wanna check it out to give you some ideas you might wanna play with:
