Indeed...I purchased a rolex replica the other month, which I do like...

In a few years time I'll be getting me a genuine nice one though...I have my eye on one for 5-6k...

Seriously Chris, don't do it. And by "don't do it" I mean a) don't buy into the idea that you're somehow better/worth more/superior to others because you have an expensive watch, and b) don't spend five to six thousand pounds (and I type it out in full to try to hint at the actual value of money, rather than glibly talking about 5 or 6 "k") on something when that sort of money could pay for 400 people to regain their sight, amongst many other things.

Incidently, have you seen American Psycho? I recommend it...

I'd take a photo of my manager wearing the exact watch and post it here if it wasn't so petty :P

It's true.

Heh heh, knew I'd get some flack for such a comment! I'd like to respond in some way but honestly, I just can't be bothered (I've got man flu) Regarding my particular hobbies - I personally think there's difference between a hobby purchase and a prestige purchase... wanting expensive stuff isn't a hobby, it's just being materialistic...

Beardy, consider what you want people to say about you at your funeral. "He was generous, he made a difference" and the like, or "he owned a lot of expensive watches" [Slow clap as Beardy exits universe...]

oh be fair on Beardy peoples! If he likes nice watches then there's nothing wrong with him spending his money on one. No different to me spending money on an expensive necklace. Or any of you spending silly money on something that you like.

You go and get your watch, Chris don't listen to this lot. :D

There is absolutely nowt wrong with liking nice, expensive stuff. If you have the money and want to splash out (stop it!) then go right ahead. Money is there to be spent (within reason) and you can't take it with you when you die, so enjoy it while you can.

You should spend your hard earned money on whatever you want.

Of course, in my opinion, I suggest you embrace your inner-geek and check out these beauties: http://www.tokyoflash.com/en/watches/1/. They take a bit of time getting used to but they have the added bonus of whenever anyone asks how much your striking looking watch costs, you can tell them the price in Yen and sound like a millionaire! :D

we dont get long to live...spend your money on crisps for all i care...hmmm gilded crisps...

and dont let middle class doctors tell you otherwise...they earn a lot of money and splash out on nurses...

dunno what they do with their money mind you...ah ha ha...oh suit yourself...

yeah, buy a massive bronze dipped motorbike and smash up a fender strat for all i care...

but please, just buy something that you like, rather than to try and emulate someone else...thats not what NLP modelling is all about...
