helping out?

Postby IAIN » Nov 26th, '09, 12:50

Its not often i give enough of a s**t to help anyone other than me and my family and those i class as proper friends, but this is certainly one of those times...

a guy i know, a decent lad, a stateside mentalist, not a pro, just someone who genuinely loves it all..his wife has got cancer for the second time...as is the way health care works over there for some people, they are having a tough time meeting all the bills...

so, a mentalism ebook has been created to help out, I'm in this one, where my Hateful Page book test is now going to be added to the ebook...However, there are people in there who are actually very good too :D It's coming out very soon...you can read about it here...

now, this one is already out, and is for Bill Cushman - he's had some major surgery and other sh***y things happen to him recently as well...I'm not involved in this one, which means you get one extra decent routine! hurrah for you when you buy it!

if you read exactly WHO is in these ebooks, you can see that its not full of tripe, or rehashes of old material to get your money and not get any real value back...i can also accept that you may not want to help a stranger out, thats more than fair, yet you may well find yourself interested in the ebooks anyway and just want to buy them regardless of anything else...that works too...

oh and yes - this has been cleared by the Mods, before you crawl forwards, slug like to murmur "but but but you are advertising for free arent you?"...

the answer is yes, yes i am...

Cannot access this from work so cannot read detail but sounds like a great idea.

Might also be worth having a rolling price on the eBook (if not already done so) that has a minimum sale price but people can pay more for the book if they want in order to donate a little bit more.

In know way do I want to hijack this post from Iain's good hearted plan, but there is an event being put on next March for cancer research. It is an evening of Magic and fine dining. If anyone is interested in donating their services as a performer please PM for more details.

Several folks have posted this call to aid Bill, Enrique Enriquez being one of the first I was aware of. The fact being that Bill has touched the lives of many in some wonderful ways. I can assure everyone that buys any of his books, you are getting some sound and fun material that may just raise an eyebrow or two more than a few times.
