Get the hardbound Bobo, not the dover edition, if you can. The dover edition has quite a lot of material missing that was in the latter editions.
Really? I did not know that. What's missing? (roughly and importantly - I don't hope for a full list!)
A list of the contents of the hardbound (enlarged) version is
http://magicref.tripod.com/books/bobocoin.htm . I don't have a comparison, although roughly its the contents of chapter 17 and onwards that are added. All the basic stuff is in both versions, but things like the goshman pinch are in the enlarged version.
More importantly, the hardbound version pays royalties to the bobo estate, the dover edition does not. The dover edition was published without permission of the Bobo family, and contains the public domain section of MCM, you can get a basically identical version to it from the learned pig project.
