It's probably too late for that now. On Saturday, for Valentine's, we went to Legally Blonde-the Musical...

I was much amused though when I realised that the Savoy theatre is right next door to the Coal Hole and when I mean next door, I mean the dressing rooms would be right next to the back of the aforementioned pub. I spent a lot of the show trying to see if I recognised any of the cast.

You had to look from here, to here. *indicates with hands*

If the spectator doesn't engage in the effect,
then the only thing left is the method.

So tell me. When you said you were taking her "out" for a meal - did she know what to expect?

I may have been a little ambiguous with the truth on that point..... but at least I made the sarnies!

Who was it who said that Valentine's Day is the one time of the year when you can't tell transvestites from other men in underwear shops?

Any road up, sorry to hear about your romantic difficulties Anna. Plenty of other fish in the sea, not all men think with their Gentleman's Area, he doesn't know what he's lost, success is the best form of revenge, etc.

Actually, if revenge is a dish best served cold and revenge is also sweet then surely revenge is a cheesecake. Good for hangovers, too, once you can keep fresh air down.

Not true, I received a very nice bunch of flowers from my girlfriend yesterday. (I can't expect to get magic props and dvds all the time can I?)

No, we should try to make the thread as long as possible but filled with sympathy for the poor girl. It sounds like she had a pretty rough night, not to mention couple of weeks, got a bit drunk and did something a bit silly and it would be a shame to scare her away just because of it.

(oh, balls! I knew seeing that musical was a bad idea. )
