I have to agree with just about everyone here... PLEASE don't get her a gimmick as an engagement ring, I'm begging you.
Get her something beautiful, forget magic.
If you absolutely have to make the whole thing magical, then yes, as others have mentioned on your other thread (Did you need to make two?), then produce it magically, that would be quite sweet if she digs your magic.
