Yes, it's a good interview. Paul is very honest regarding the problems faced and the difficulties in putting something like this together.

I really hope the other projects he talks of come about.

I've only recently seen this...

I decided what I was gonna have for tea during that routine..

How many 'spectators' can you call onto the stage, supposedly randomly picked yet wearing a label microphone!!!!!

Nah, if you watch closely they either had a boom mic shoved under their chin (sometimes badly) or thanks to editing they're sat down with no mic, then all of a sudden by the time they're on stage they have one

How many forfeit challenges can you have where you stand on coal / nails / glass etc. I mean, their practically all the same for crying out loud!

Yeah, I know I said a few weeks ago that wasn't so bad, but it's starting to get quite dull now..

Once you've produced a car, helicopter, camel, dance-group, Dino etc. all using the exact same method, you have to wonder why?
When are they going to do something different?

Agreed

I watched as the volunteers were asked just before the recording if they'd take part, there was no element of a set up, just making sure that when the perfomers asked a person to help they were OK about it. I saw two people turn down the opportunity to help. There were hanging and boom mikes all over the place so lapel mikes might not have been needed. Also bear in mind that there were lengthy breaks between filming each segment and any miking up was done in that interval only just before the cameras rolled again.
