He came up to me before the lecture and mentioned that I had shown him the Notis Cascade years ago and ever since then he has tried to master it but couldn't so he asked me to teach him. He showed me what he was doing but I was a trifle baffled because he seemed to be doing everything correctly but they still went all over the floor.

In a spirit of great superiority I took his cards and showed him. But when I did it the bloody cards went all over the floor too! I kept trying it with the same results. It then dawned on me that it is the bloody cards that were the problem. I tried it with my own cards and had no problem whatsoever. I use bridge cards and I find Waddingtons cards very good for this.
